Dana is a young man who has recently aged out of foster care. He has made choices in his life and has faced the consequences of those decisions. However, Dana has decided to leave his past behind and move forward. He has earned his Associate's Degree and plans to continue his education by pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. Dana has recognized the hurdles he has already overcome and understands that there may be more challenges ahead. Nonetheless, he is determined to be ready for them. Dana is looking forward to defying the odds and becoming a successful member of his community.

Dana is starting his fall semester at the University of New Mexico, wants to make a strong first impression as a new college student. While he has received some clothing donations from friends, he is excited to choose new clothes that showcase his personal style. A Ross gift card would allow him to purchase clothes that fit his personality and the opportunity for him to express himself and feel confident as he begins this exciting new phase of his life.
