McKenna is a determined and resilient young adult who has spent much of her life in the foster care system after being removed from her mother’s care due to neglect at a young age. Throughout her journey, she has worked hard in therapy to heal from her trauma while also dedicating herself to her education. McKenna recently achieved a major milestone by graduating from high school and is now preparing for college, where she plans to pursue her dream of becoming a pharmacy technician.

McKenna is asking for a gift card for clothing because she is preparing to start college and wants to feel confident as she begins this important new chapter in her life. She has worked hard to save money and apply for scholarships to cover her tuition, but clothing is an additional expense she cannot fully afford on her own right now. Having new clothes will help McKenna feel more prepared and self-assured as she transitions into adulthood and prepares for her college program to become a pharmacy technician. This support will not only meet a practical need but will also encourage her as she continues to build independence and pursue her goals.
