At the age of 13, Haneefah entered the foster care system due to her mother’s severe mental illness. Despite this challenging beginning, Haneefah shines brightly with her kindness and outgoing nature, always ready to support those around her. A dedicated and bright young woman, she is currently enrolled in college, driven by her aspiration to become a therapist. Haneefah wants to help others who have struggled with mental health, drawing from her own experiences to make a difference. In addition to her studies, Haneefah is a creative soul with a deep passion for gospel music, which she practices daily. Her love for animals, especially dogs, is evident in the amazing talent she has for soothing and showing compassion towards them. Haneefah’s journey is one of resilience and hope, as she actively works to improve her quality of life while inspiring others along the way.

Haneefah has recently settled into a supportive living program and is eager to explore her new community. A naturally social person, she often greets her neighbors and enjoys spending time with them. To make her daily commute easier—since the nearest bus stop is about a fifteen-minute walk away—Haneefah is on the lookout for an electric bicycle. She envisions using it not only to get to and from work but also to venture to the local parks, where she can unwind and appreciate the natural beauty surrounding her.
