Kaine has overcome the odds and continues to defy them daily. He has proven how resilient he really is. Kaine has been in foster care for years, separated from his sisters and the only family he had ever known, unsure of his future. Kaine has maintained staying in the same school, achieved almost perfect grades, and recently started a job at the local car wash! Kaine is a very respectful young man who has grown to be such a positive role model for other foster youth who come into his foster home.

As Kaine just recently celebrated his 16th birthday, he is now approaching a significant transition in his life—he’ll be aging out of foster care in just two years. This period can be quite stressful for many young people, but Kaine is determined to take charge of his future. He’s always seeking ways to improve himself, believing that by becoming a better person, he can positively influence those around him. With his sights set on achieving great things in adulthood, Kaine has recognized the importance of enhancing his independent living skills. To support this journey, he has expressed a wish for an Apple Watch, which he believes will help him stay organized and connected as he navigates this new chapter.
