Haiti is a loving single mother of a beautiful baby girl. After many years in the shelter system, she finally got her own subsidized apartment in a new building in the Bronx, which has been life-changing. But with no family or friends to help with childcare, Haiti is pretty much on her own. Despite daily struggles, Haiti is a strong and resilient person. Her daughter is the light of her life, and she is committed to working hard to find stability for herself and for her child.

Haiti is actively searching for a job, but she lacks an important resource that would help her in the process. Without nice enough clothes for an in-person interview, Haiti feels unable to present herself confidently or make a positive impression. Having the ability to purchase well-fitting, affordable interview essentials would greatly alleviate some of the stress of the job search and help her work towards a more stable life.
