Rocco came into care significantly underweight and had witnessed significant drug use by his father. Since entering care, Rocco has gained weight and has developed a positive relationship with his foster parents. He enjoys attending his local jujitsu gym, learning Latin at school, and attending his church's youth group. Rocco was also recently baptized and finds his local church community to be very important to him. Despite what Rocco has experienced, he is an active and social teen who is highly engaged in his community and has blossomed during his brief time in care.

Rocco experienced neglect before being placed in foster care, which led to him not attending school regularly, and he is currently working at a 6th-grade level. He is now enrolled in a homeschooling program to help him catch up. However, Rocco does not have a personal laptop for his studies, which means he has to share with his foster parent. Having his own computer would greatly benefit him. Rocco is very motivated to complete his schoolwork and has already formed positive relationships with his peers and teacher. His favorite subject is Latin.
