Before entering foster care, Lilly experienced the loss of her mother and had an inconsistent relationship with her father. Despite this, she has found a sense of stability and normalcy in her foster home. However, she still struggles with her feelings and misses her mother deeply. To find joy, she is trying to focus on new hobbies, such as playing tennis and running track.

Lilly recently started playing tennis and wishes to have her own tennis racquet. Her foster mom says she is a star on the court. Athletics has become a healthy outlet for Lilly, and participating in sports is very therapeutic for her. With each match, she grows more confident and excited about her progress.
