Maggie is a bright, determined young lady who has been in foster care since January 2025. Her journey hasn’t been easy—she’s faced periods of housing instability, times when there wasn’t enough food, and the heartbreak of losing a parent. For years she bounced from one family member’s home to another, never truly having the stability most of us take for granted. But despite all of that, Maggie never let her circumstances define her. She has always shown up—for herself, for her future, and for her education. She’s never had issues with school or grades, and she continues to excel academically. In fact, Maggie already has her sights set on the future: she plans to serve our country by joining the military after graduation.

Maggie is currently balancing school and a part-time job, working hard to build a better life for herself. She stays strong and keeps going without complaining. However, even someone as tough as Maggie needs a little help sometimes. Right now, she really needs some basic clothing essentials—things that most teens get to choose for themselves without a second thought. Having the chance to pick out new clothes would boost her confidence and help her feel like she belongs in her classroom, knowing that her community is supporting her. This is wish 1 of 2.
