Etaevion has experienced a challenging upbringing, moving in and out of foster care over the years as his mother worked on her sobriety. He shares this journey with his younger sister, who is also in foster care with him. Throughout high school, Etaevion had to switch schools frequently due to changes in his foster placements and temporary reunions with his mother. Despite these difficulties, he remained dedicated to his education and successfully completed his studies. Outside of his academic life, Etaevion loves swimming and enjoys spending time with his friends. He has a strong sense of community and actively participates in volunteer work through his church group. He also helps out around the house with his foster family and takes great joy in caring for their unique pets, including a wolf and a zebra.

After graduating high school, Etaevion found himself once again placed in foster care, with no clear plans for his future. However, thanks to the support of caring foster parents and his community, he decided to pursue higher education. He applied to college and was thrilled to be accepted. Now, in his second month of college, he is proud to be achieving all A’s, even though managing his studies without a computer has proven to be challenging in today’s digital learning environment. Etaevion wishes for a laptop to help him keep up with his college classes and continue earning good grades. Having his own computer would give him the tools he needs to succeed!
