Astrid and her two little sisters were taken from their parents' care due to a high-conflict custody dispute that resulted in their mother being shot and seriously injured by their father. Despite this traumatic event, Astrid and her sisters were fortunate to be placed in the care of a teacher at their school, allowing them to stay together. Astrid is observant, sweet, and timid, and she deeply cares about the feelings of others. Although she is shy, Astrid is also energetic, creative, and silly. She loves music, cars, and building things—especially Magna-Tiles. Most of all, Astrid adores Billie Eilish and feels a strong connection to her lyrics and unique sense of style.

Astrid's favorite thing in life is music, especially Billie Eilish, and says she relates to her music and style aesthetic in a deep way. Astrid looks up to Billie Eilish's ability to express herself in a meaningful way and says her music allows her to both disconnect and relax. Astrid's wish is to have a shirt that supports an artist she loves, but also is in line with her own unique style and identity
