The Buckeye RanchAllyson has faced a tough life. A few years ago, her mother had to give her up to Child Protective Services. After that, she lived with her father, but he couldn't take care of her, so she went to stay with her grandfather for a couple of years. Recently, she was put back in her mother's care. All these changes have made it hard for her to feel safe and have affected her behavior. She has ADHD, and sometimes she hurts others or eats things that aren’t food. The trauma she has gone through has left her with strong feelings of abandonment. Despite everything, Allyson loves to sing and is interested in gymnastics. This brave girl has been through so much and truly deserves a chance to thrive.
Last year marked the first Christmas Allyson spent with her mom and siblings in several years. Without the means to afford a real tree, Allyson crafted a beautiful one out of paper and glitter, proudly displaying it on her bedroom door. This year, Allyson would love to have a real artificial Christmas tree to make their holiday celebrations even more special.
