He has a deep affection for his four siblings, particularly his younger sister, showing a nurturing and caring nature. While he has speech delays that make communication outside the family challenging, he easily connects with his loved ones. Currently receiving speech therapy at school once a week, Waylon's resilience shines through, and his wonderful sense of humor brings joy to those around him.
Waylon lives in a foster home with lots of foster siblings and loves spending time outdoors with them. They often make up creative games to play together, using their imaginations to turn the backyard into their own little adventure world. Waylon wishes he had walkie-talkies that would actually reach far enough for them to play and pretend the way they want to. Receiving this wish would mean so much to him. It would make their outdoor adventures even more exciting and allow him and his siblings to stay connected while playing.
