James is truly special. His strength and spirit shine even in the face of deep hardship. After losing a parent, he is being raised by his grandmother, who provides him with steady comfort and support. Despite the pain he has experienced, James meets each day with resilience, curiosity, and a heart full of hope. He finds joy in bike riding, unicycling, skating, and cooking, and he cares deeply for his cat, who is always by his side. Additionally, James volunteers in his school garden, quietly giving back to the community that has helped him grow.

James asked for his own popcorn machine. He loves the sound of the kernels popping like fireworks. He says popcorn just tastes better when he’s the one making it. He can already picture himself mixing up crazy flavors and handing out bowls on movie night. He likes the idea of being the “popcorn boss”!
