Olivia is being raised by her grandmother and aunt since her biological parents have not been in her life for several years. Her grandmother suffers from chronic illness, and whenever she contracts even a minor illness, she often ends up hospitalized for weeks or months at a time. Despite these challenges, Olivia is the smartest girl in her class. She warmly greets everyone she meets with kind words or hugs. Olivia always finds the silver lining in every situation and has impeccable manners. She would attend school every day of the week if she could.

Olivia's grandma is unable to work due to health issues and receives some disability assistance. Her aunt has a part-time job, as she is the primary caregiver for both Grandma and Olivia. They work hard to make ends meet, but it's increasingly challenging for many people right now due to rising costs. Now that SNAP benefits are on pause, they could really use some help with food.
