Lee is a bright young woman who aged out of the foster care system when she was 15 years old. She enjoys spending her free time listening to music, hanging out with her friends, and skateboarding.

Lee’s journey is one of strength and resilience. After being kicked out of her home, she spent time living out of her car before finding safety at a domestic violence shelter. Since then, Lee has been approved for an FYI housing voucher and has worked hard in therapy and at her jobs to rebuild stability and continue her healing journey. Her wish is for a pressure cooker, which will help her prepare warm, home-cooked meals and make enough food to meal prep for the week for work. Having this appliance will make it easier for Lee to cook affordable, comforting meals as she continues to focus on healing, independence, and creating a safe, stable life for herself.
