Carter is a very active and happy little boy. He came into Youth and Family Services custody with developmental delays due to neglect, but is blossoming now that he is in a good home. He loves jumping, running, and looking at books as well as playing with his collection of trucks and cars. Carter is learning how to play with other children and how to amuse himself. Carter is speech-delayed, though he is beginning to use more words every week.

Carter would really enjoy having his very own bean bag chair. It would be a perfect spot for him to jump into after running around, as well as a cozy place to relax. Since he loves identifying whose things belong to, having a chair that is specifically his would bring him a lot of joy. He would like having his own unique space.
