Elijah has spent much of his life in and out of foster care. He has cognitive disabilities that require significant one-on-one support at home, in school, and at work. Currently, Elijah is participating in a work training program that helps him develop skills and prepare for the next stage of his life. He enjoys interacting with others, playing video games, and loves sports. Recently, Elijah has discovered a new passion for art and is exploring new hobbies.

Elijah is requesting a cell phone to help him become more independent. He wants the ability to work, spend time with friends, and visit the park on his own. Currently, he cannot go anywhere alone because he lacks a means of communication in case of emergencies or if he needs assistance. Having a cell phone would enable his foster parent and support team to maintain regular contact with him and check his location to ensure his safety.
