Fostering Hope - BucksLiliana has spent most of her life in and out of the foster care system. When she is not in foster care, she has lived with various family members for short periods. Recently, both Liliana and her daughter were placed back into kinship care with her aunt. Despite her challenges, Liliana is a hardworking young woman who is determined to graduate from high school while also managing a part-time job to support her daughter.
Liliana puts in tremendous effort to provide for herself and her baby. However, with the recent government shutdown, she has been unable to access her usual SNAP benefits, making it increasingly difficult to put food on the table for her family. A gift card would significantly alleviate this burden and help ensure they have enough to eat.
