Church World Service - Jersey CityMira is an energetic and imaginative young girl who brightens up every room she enters. She loves drawing colorful pictures and spending time outside exploring and playing with her sister. Due to difficult circumstances, Mira had to leave her home and everything she knew. Despite the difficulties, Mira continues to smile and find the positive side to her new life. Mira is curious about the world and her new home. She enjoys school- especially reading and art- and she’s always excited to learn something new.
Mira is grateful to have a place to stay, but she lacks essential items like a bed and a mattress. A bed would mean so much to her, especially as she transitions into this new chapter of her life. It would be a wonderful gift that could provide her with stability and a place to dream and rest comfortably.
