Honey is a sweet young lady who has been in care for several years. She loves school and participates in many activities. Particularly, she enjoys volleyball and soccer and excels in everything she does. Honey works part-time at a nursing home and is working towards her CNA license. She loves her time there and has made many friends among her coworkers and the residents. They affectionately call her their "happy ray of sunshine" because she always smiles as she walks through the hallways and offers to help everyone without waiting to be asked. Honey is considering a career in nursing someday, or perhaps in cosmetology, since she loves making her residents feel pretty by fixing their hair. When I asked Honey what makes her happy, she replied that just watching and helping others smile brings her joy, especially because there was a time when she wasn't sure if she would ever find that happiness for herself.

Honey is wishing for a grown-up, cozy bedding set for Christmas to replace the worn-out one she received when she first came into care several years ago—a set she has now outgrown and would love to update.
