Amela has been in foster care since 2021. Though she has experienced traumatic events in her life, she has never lost hope and continues to be strong-willed and focused in accomplishing her goals. She successfully graduated from high school with a high GPA and is currently attending college. She always keeps a positive mindset and strives to achieve greater things.

Amela highly values the time she spends with her loved ones. She wishes to have a Nintendo Switch so she can play games with her friends and family, especially her little sister. It would also serve as an excellent way for Amela to unwind after a long day of classes. With its ability to help her stay connected to the important people in her life and provide a means of relaxation, Amela knows she would make great use of a Nintendo Switch.
