Chance has been in and out of care for years, and he’s now settling into a new guardianship home. He’s a tough kid who has faced more hardships than most his age. Basketball and video games are the two things that help him recenter and calm his mind on difficult days. Chance deserves a sense of stability and something that brings him comfort as he navigates yet another significant change in his life.

With another new school ahead of Chance, he’s hoping for a fresh start. Chance is wishing for a new backpack to help him feel prepared and confident as he begins this next chapter. After everything he’s been through, having something of his own would mean a lot and help make the transition a little easier.
