Chance has been in and out of care for years, and he’s now settling into a new guardianship home. He’s a tough kid who has faced more hardships than most his age. Basketball and video games are the two things that help him recenter and calm his mind on difficult days. Chance deserves a sense of stability and something that brings him comfort as he navigates yet another significant change in his life.

Chance would love a pair of Birkenstock sandals. He really likes the style and feels they would help him feel comfortable and fit in at his new school. After so many changes and moves, he’s hoping for something that helps him feel more confident and settled. Having a pair of sandals he truly loves would give him a small sense of belonging during a time when everything else feels new.
