Cory has spent much of his life navigating the foster care system, showing resilience far beyond his years. Despite the instability and challenges he has faced, Cory remains grounded, hopeful, and determined to create a brighter future for himself. Cory loves hands-on activities and enjoys spending time outdoors, whether he’s biking, playing sports, or exploring new places. He also has a creative side.He likes drawing, building things, and learning how things work. What truly stands out about Cory is his big heart. He cares deeply about the people around him and always tries to bring positivity into any space he enters. His strength, perseverance, and willingness to keep moving forward make him a remarkable young person.

Cory is requesting a Meta Quest VR system because it would provide him with a positive outlet and the opportunity to explore new experiences that he hasn’t had access to while growing up in foster care. Virtual reality would help him learn, stay active, safely connect with others, and manage stress in a healthy way.
