Gianni is a kind, thoughtful, and athletic young man who enjoys listening to music and watching and playing sports. He has spent many years in the foster care system due to his parents' struggles with domestic violence and drug use, which exposed him to serious physical harm. Gianni entered foster care for the third time in September 2025, and he hopes this will be his final placement. His foster parents intend to adopt him, and they have a biological son who is just a few months older than Gianni. He affectionately calls his foster parents "Mom" and "Dad," and he considers his foster brother to be his true brother in every sense of the word. Since being placed in his current foster home, Gianni has been thriving—playing recreational sports and excelling in school.

Gianni adores his foster brother, which is one of the many reasons he is thrilled that his adoption will be finalized within the next year. He feels incredibly lucky to have found not only amazing foster parents but also a best friend and brother in his foster sibling. Gianni and his foster brother do everything together and are even in the same class at school. Their teacher affectionately calls them the "Talk Twins" because of their gregarious, happy, and chatty personalities; you can always find them together. For the holidays, Gianni wishes to receive a PlayStation remote so he can enjoy playing video games with his foster brother (who will soon be his adoptive brother) and all their new friends.
