Azure has been in foster care intermittently since 2014 because her mother, who has significant developmental delays, was unable to meet her needs and often left her unsupervised. Azure loves nature, especially plants and butterflies. She recently moved into a group home, marking her tenth placement in the last two years. This year, Azure is doing very well in school and is a founding member of the Spirit Squad. A highlight of her year was performing a Beyoncé song in her school talent show.

Azure is a fun-loving and outgoing girl who has worked very hard in school and therapy over the past year. She is determined to improve her grades and be a good friend. Everyone who meets Azure is captivated by her beautiful smile, engaging personality, and her love and respect for nature and animals. Some of her favorite places to visit are arcades and family fun centers, especially to play claw machines and win toys or prizes. This holiday season, Azure wishes for a mini claw machine of her very own for her room.
