Nyamal is a bright light in our classroom, radiating warmth with her gentle spirit and a heart full of love. Proud of her Nuer heritage, she joyfully shares her native language with friends and teachers. Currently living in transitional housing in Warren Village with her family, her natural caretaking qualities shine as she looks out for her younger brother. With a delightful imagination, Nyamal loves princesses, the color pink, and everything magical. Her remarkable intelligence and curiosity allow her to remember every little detail, and it's her kindness, inquisitive nature, and sweet hugs that make her an absolute joy to be around.

Nyamal is growing quickly and often arrives in clothing that’s well-loved and well-played in from many uses. A clothing gift card would help her family choose outfits that fit her comfortably and allow her to express her love for princesses and all things pink. It would give her the chance to feel confident and special—just like the bright, nurturing girl she is—while also supporting her family as they rebuild stability in transitional housing.
