Shakirah is a hardworking girl who balances school and multiple extracurricular activities while still supporting her family at home. She has naturally strong leadership skills, often stepping up to help other students and setting a positive example among her peers. Recently, her family has faced significant hardship after her mother, who is caring for eight children, was declared disabled and is unable to work. Despite the emotional and financial strain this has created, Shakirah remains respectful, responsible, and determined to succeed. She dreams of becoming a model or a teacher, inspired by her love for confidence, creativity, and education. Shakirah is wishing for essential clothing because her family is currently facing serious financial hardship after her mother was declared disabled and is no longer able to work. With eight children in the household, it has been extremely difficult to keep up with everyone’s basic needs, including clothing. Having new, well-fitting clothes would allow Shakirah to feel more confident at school and during her extracurricular activities, instead of worrying about what she has to wear. This support would also ease some of the burden on her mother, who is doing her best despite very challenging circumstances. Receiving essential clothing would help Shakirah feel cared for, valued, and supported during this difficult time.
