Amiya is a very smart and resourceful young lady. Amiya loves to read and has published two books on Amazon. She has not allowed her time in foster care to stop her from pursuing her dreams of one day becoming a lawyer. Amiya hopes to become successful so that she can help her much younger siblings that are in foster care.

Amiya loves painting her own nails. She loves using two or three different colors at one time. Amiya uses painting her nails for self-expression, creativity, and individuality. She likes to stand out in a crowd. Amiya loves being different. Amiya reported that painting her nails also acts as a stress reliever (meditative focus) and serves as a personal form of self-care. She will be super excited to receive the Gel Nail Polish she asked for on her wish list on Christmas.
