Savannah grew up in foster care, often moving from one home to another and experiencing inconsistent and sometimes inadequate care. These early experiences left lasting challenges, but after aging out of the system and becoming a mother, she sought therapy to process and understand her childhood. Through this healing journey, Savannah has been able to reconnect with her biological parents and is working to build a healthy, supportive relationship with her family. Her focus is on creating a stable and loving environment for her child, ensuring they have the security, care, and consistency she often lacked growing up.

A book set would be especially meaningful for Savannah. In her foster home, where she had some of her worst experiences, she read the Dork Diaries books 1–3 but never got to finish the series. Growing up, she wasn’t allowed to have toys, so books became her escape and a source of comfort. Having a complete set now would allow her to revisit that joy, inspire her imagination, and share the love of reading with her child.
