Aiden has been through a great deal in his short life, experiencing instability and situations that left him feeling unsafe and unheard. After entering foster care, he moved into his current caregiver’s home, where he finally began to feel protected, supported, and valued. For the first time, he has a calm and consistent environment, and he has expressed that he does not want to return to their previous home because of the fear and uncertainty he experienced there. Despite these challenges, he remains caring, resilient, and hopeful. He is slowly learning to trust, open up, and rediscover what it feels like to just be a kid. Creative activities help them feel grounded, giving them a healthy outlet to express emotions he struggles to put into words. What makes this child truly special is their strength, their gentle heart, and the courage they show every day as they continue to heal and grow.

Aiden loves to play games and loves virtual reality. He reports that it is a way to be in his own world and calms him.
