JaCarlos is a personable, laid-back, and hard-working young man. Despite a variety of setbacks with previous placements and life situations, he was able to graduate high school on time. He has worked continuously, even after the unexpected death of his mother. JaCarlos has always wanted to set himself apart from others as he always shares that he wants to take advantage of the support he has while in foster care to properly prepare for aging out of care.

JaCarlos is a new father of a newborn. He is preparing to age out of foster care in March and has been working hard to save funds for this transition. JaCarlos has recently secured full-time employment and plans to be an active parent in his child's life. He would love to be able to purchase gifts for his son. A gift card will help him to purchase items as they are needed.
