Desiree is a single mother of two children who aged out of foster care, Desiree has always put her children’s need’s above her own including the school they attend, to clothes and shoes they wear. Desiree is working full time as receptionist, however it is not enough to pay all the bills and have enough groceries and essential needs. Desiree has endured a lot of trauma and loss in her life and as a single mother she never gets a break or alone time to manage her mental health the way she would like. Desiree is doing the best she can, and she will continue doing the best for her children.

Desiree’s newborn has been unable to keep milk down and has already lost weight since birth nearly three weeks ago. She has been trying to feed him without success, and a special formula is needed to support his nutrition and overall health. Desiree is currently on maternity leave and has not received a paycheck since November, making it difficult to afford the formula. Providing this special formula would be vital for the baby’s growth and well-being, while also easing Desiree’s stress by ensuring she has the support needed to feed her child.
