Cara is a resilient young woman who aged out of foster care at 18. Despite experiencing homelessness, she has fought for custody of her brother and is currently working as a waitress while studying to become a registered nurse. After the tragic loss of her sister in a car accident last year, Cara dreams of starting a program in South Carolina to support foster youth. An artist and aspiring author, she is writing a book about her journey to achieve her goals and give back to others.

Cara needs warm clothing and shoes. After aging out of foster care and experiencing homelessness, she is currently working long hours as a waitress while studying to become a registered nurse and caring for her brother. With a limited income and colder weather approaching, replacing her worn clothing and finding warm, durable items has become a significant challenge—especially since she often works outdoors without heat. This gift would alleviate some of the stress she has been carrying during this emotionally difficult time as she continues to grieve her sister while striving to achieve her goals. It would provide practical support, a sense of dignity, and a feeling of care during a season when she truly needs it.
