Sky entered the foster system at birth and grew up facing instability and loss. These experiences shaped her view of children and families. As an adult, she decides to confront her childhood trauma with courage, recognizing the pain and resilience it brought her. Wanting to turn her hardships into purpose, she is enrolled in a child development program. Through her studies and self-reflection, Sky aims to help vulnerable children and become the steady presence she once needed, while continuing to heal and grow.

Sky is requesting a MacBook to support her education, as it will enable her to complete assignments, conduct research, attend online classes, and stay organized. Having this tool will not only help her succeed academically but also empower her to build a future where she can advocate for and support vulnerable children.
