Aiden's mother struggled with substance abuse and neglected her children. She was taken to jail, and the children were placed in the custody of the Ohio Department of Human Services (ODHS) until their grandmother stepped in and applied for guardianship. Aiden is doing well in school. He loves playing outside with his friends and is very active, especially when it comes to sports. He also enjoys attending summer camps, which have provided him with great experiences.

Aiden is a picky eater, and with the rising cost of food, this family is struggling to get by. They rely on food banks to help make it through the month, but they still have a difficult time. There are three other children in the household as well. The family is requesting a gift card for food, specifically for Aiden, due to his food aversions. This would allow them to purchase the food and snacks that Aiden is willing to eat, which the food banks do not typically provide. This wish has been split up so that Aiden can get several foods that he likes. This is wish 1 of 2.
