Edward was placed into care as an emergency placement yesterday. He has been physically abused and arrived at the foster home with only the clothes on his back. He has autism and is non-verbal.

Edward had to leave his home abruptly for his own safety and was unable to gather any clothes. He has been relocated to a place far from home and cannot bring any belongings. Without boots, he is struggling in the deep snow, which is expected to remain due to the cold temperatures. Unfortunately, the free community resource center that families typically rely on for assistance is closed because of the snowstorm.
