Ayana was gifted two sister kittens about a year ago, and they have made a huge difference in her emotional wellbeing. However, she recently realized that they had begun urinating on her sofa, and while she took steps to try and stop this, it became so bad that she has had to get rid of the couch. She loves the cats and after speaking with her City Living social worker, it became apparent that the kittens may be in heat. This has now been confirmed by a vet, but Ayana does not have the funds to get them neutered at this time. Typically we could use the ASPCA roving van, but that service has been stopped due to COVID-19. Our nonprofit will purchase a new sofa for Ayana, but we want to help solve the kitten's issue prior to doing so. Please consider helping Ayana through this crisis; she does not want to lose her kittens but knows it is only a matter of time before they begin ruining other items if we cannot solve the underlying problem.
