A Bike for Pedro to get back and forth to interviews

Posted Jun 23, 2020
Due to COVID-19, Pedro's employment opportunities have become scarce. As NYC begins to re-open in phases, Pedro is excited to get back to work. To help him with getting to and from and to expand his employment opportunities by making jobs in the delivery field possible, Pedro is seeking support in purchasing a bicycle.

Pedro is 27 years old and lives in NY

Pedro is a member of CASA-NYC's Youth Leadership Council. He aged out of foster care last summer when he moved into his first apartment through a supportive housing program! ! Pedro continues to be active with CASA through his advocate and his work on the YLC- he speaks on panels to judges, attorneys, case workers and even other young adults who remain in care to share insight about his experiences and guide future work with youth. Pedro is an industrious young man who has worked many jobs - construction, catering, management, and maintenance to name a few. He adores video games and playing with his dogs. He found his forever family when he was placed there early on in his foster care journey. and maintains contact with them.
