CASA NJ - Monmouth CountyJamaya was asked to leave her foster home, a place she had been living for three years, the day after her high school graduation. Jamaya has been in foster care since she was two, but was with her maternal grandmother until she was 14. She has no relationship with any of her family. She graduated from high school and has enrolled in college. Jamaya is working at a clothing store in the mall, and she looks forward to her bright future.
Jamaya likes being physically in school better than working remotely from home but most classes are being done via internet at this time. She is in need of a tablet to help with her school work as her classes require a lot of reading and research.
