Since the pandemic started, Charleen has done some deep self reflection and really wants to get her high school equivalency diploma. Programs are starting up in the fall remotely, and Charleen would like a laptop so she can enroll in a preparation class. Currently, Charleen only has a cell phone and it is very difficult to participate in remote classes over her phone.
Charleen is 26 years old and lives in NY
Charleen lives in Manhattan in public housing. She loves to cook and spend time with her nieces and nephew. Charleen lost her mother at an early age, which caused her to enter the foster care system. Recently she suffered an extremely difficult loss, the passing of her grandmother.
