Hillsides - BienvenidosLili entered foster care in 2018 after suffering terrible trauma. She has been adjusting well. She is a happy child but has challenges with separation anxiety. She also has delays in her speech which causes her to get frustrated since her requests aren't understood. Lili has been working on improving her speech and learning new words and sentences. She enjoys learning and is catching on!
Lili loves when her foster parents spend time with her reading and teaching her letters and words. She wishes for some new interactive phonic books that will help her continue to get familiar with sounding out words. She will be able to flip through the pages on her own time to keep practicing all day!
