Foster Alumni MentorsSistina has an amazing story of perseverance and overcoming obstacles. She never gave up. She has always been a hard worker and did very well in college. She is now a stay-at-home mom, caring for her younger siblings that entered the foster care system as well as raising her own children. She has such a big heart and is always doing what she can for those around her. Sistina is such an ambitious, hard working leader and dreams of owning her own home one day.
Sistina works hard to provide for her family. She is a wonderful mother to her own children and her younger siblings who she took in to keep them out of the system. Sistina is nervous for the holiday season because she wants it to be magical for all the children but doesn't have the financial means to make sure it will be. She would be so grateful for a gift card to Target to buy some toys that will ensure some Christmas joy during the holidays.
