Ayana has expressed wanting her own dryer machine in her home. At this time, Ayana is a full-time student, an intern, a caterer, and starting a new job. She is trying to maintain a healthy work-life balance and realized how much time she spends at the laundromat every week. Having a dryer in addition to her washing machine would really help her save more time during the weekend to focus on one of her many endeavors.

Ayana is an amazing young woman who aged out of foster care in NYC. She has been living in her NYCHA apartment for 4 years now. She is currently working toward her Bachelors Degree, and plans to pursue her Graduate Degree in Social Work. She aspires to work in the child welfare system to help other children and young adults succeed. She is also an entrepreneur, starting businesses both to help foster youth and around her passion for cooking. She is a staunch advocate for youth in foster care, linking them to resources and assisting with things like resume writing and career planning.
