Ayana is trying to focus more on her overall well-being. While trying to incorporate more mindfulness into her hectic schedule, Ayana also would like to incorporate more physical activity. She once had a gym membership that she could not continue to pay due to unemployment, but she would like to get back to working out in the gym. At this time, Ayana owes planet fitness back pay, and once that is paid off she will be able to afford the monthly payments going forward.

Ayana is an amazing young woman who aged out of foster care in NYC. She has been living in her NYCHA apartment for 4 years now. She is currently working toward her Bachelors Degree, and plans to pursue her Graduate Degree in Social Work. She aspires to work in the child welfare system to help other children and young adults succeed. She is also an entrepreneur, starting businesses both to help foster youth and around her passion for cooking. She is a staunch advocate for youth in foster care, linking them to resources and assisting with things like resume writing and career planning.
