Scarlett is a young mother who has overcome many challenges. She was kicked out of her home as a teenager, and had periods of street homelessness and foster care. She finally got her own apartment at 19, where she lives with her vivacious little girl. Recently, Scarlett has also taken in her two younger sisters, aged 8 and 12, to keep them from living with strangers in the foster care system. Scarlett is a phenomenal mother, who has truly broken any perceived cycle of abuse. Her daughter is the light of her life, and the care she shows for her is clearly apparent.

Scarlett had to stop working a security job due to child care this summer. However, she has started her own business doing hair which has been helping her family manage their expenses. However, she is already thinking ahead to the school supplies her daughter will need, and is concerned about her ability to manage this. Please assist Scarlett in resting assured that her daughter will have all the notebooks, crayons, and pencils she needs as she enters 1st grade!
