Ayana is an amazing young woman who aged out of foster care in NYC. She has been living in her NYCHA apartment for 4 years now. She is currently working toward her Bachelors Degree, and plans to pursue her Graduate Degree in Social Work. She aspires to work in the child welfare system to help other children and young adults succeed. She is also an entrepreneur, starting businesses both to help foster youth and around her passion for cooking. She is a staunch advocate for youth in foster care, linking them to resources and assisting with things like resume writing and career planning.

Ayana is moving into a new apartment and would like to make a small home office space so she can have a designated area to complete her school work. As she finished up college and starts a brand new job, it is important for her to remain focused during this time. She has so many books from her years of college and self study, and she would love for them to be on display and easily accessible as she continue to progress in hr career and education.
