Joanna just completed her first week of classes and is in need of textbooks for school. At this time she is saving her money to move out of her apartment so she doesn't have a lot of extra funds to put towards school supplies and textbooks. This support would help Joanna purchase everything she needs for a successful semester.
Joanna is 23 years old and lives in NY
Joanna is a foster care youth who currently resides in her own apartment in NYC public housing with her 1-year-old son. Joanna was diagnosed with severe migraines at the age of 7 and is still dealing with this today. She struggles with her health at times but keeps pushing forward everyday for herself and her son. Joanna is a very passionate and hardworking individual who is dedicated to making a better life.
