Jennifer is working to complete her college degree while raising her two children. She recently received a serious medical diagnosis that necessitates her going to the hospital for treatment twice a week for several months. She is hoping for a gas card to help her with the added economic burden of her medical situation.

Jennifer is an extremely hard-working student and parent. She's a single mom who was emancipated from foster care and provides for her five children--four sons and a daughter. Jennifer is a Sociology Major with a passion for social justice and is dedicated to serving others. Jennifer has aspirations to become a lawyer or a social worker. Jennifer has a vivacious personality; she is resilient and is a positive person that is always willing to help others. She is very mature and serves as a role model to many of our incoming freshmen students.

"Hi Jennifer, My father in law was recently diagnosed with kidney failure and has to attend dialysis 3x a week. I work as a police officer and my schedule doesn’t always allow me to take him so we rely on our family to provide him with rides but if we are all working, he has to take transport. I know how difficult it can be to have to get to where you’re going. You sound like an amazing person and I wish you the best of luck in everything. Take care and be safe! "
