Courtney is a fun, creative and expressive young adult who loves to do arts and crafts, listen to music and bake. Courtney loves animals and hopes to one day become a veterinarian. She enjoys fashion design and takes extra care in choosing her daily outfits. She enjoys shopping and taking photos of her OOTD (outfit of the day). She is very social and engaging with her peers. She wants to enter the culinary field as she enjoys cooking meals of different cuisines. Her macaroni and cheese dish ranked 3rd in the competition at the Boys and Girls Clubs this year. She is always the first to volunteer to help, she loves talking and interacting with people, she loves to create new recipes and maintaining her relationship with her brother who lives out of state is her number one priority. Courtney is working hard on learning independent living skills so she can hopefully get a job one day!

Courtney continues to have difficulty managing her emotions and behaviors in her resource home. Courtney lives with three other teenagers and struggles with not getting attention and time with her resource parent when she wants. This wish will give Courtney something productive to do, and will allow her to be patient and control her anxiety.
